If you are unfamiliar with Discord, it’s a fairly new arrival in the sea of online chat and conferencing tools. There are all kinds of servers out there dedicated to every interest under the sun, and the platform is free to join. It’s got multi-channel text and voice chat capabilities, and they are even currently beta-testing a new video feature as well! There’s an app for every platform you may wish to use, too.
